Taking into consideration the public importance of the opportunity to pay for parking spots via SMS, VivaCell-MTS decided to continue technical support for providing the mentioned service in revised format.
“According to the agreement between VivaCell-MTS and competent authorities, the company will charge AMD 2 for making payments via SMS. It is worth informing that this symbolic amount cannot be considered as an additional source of revenue for the company, since it is an operational necessity,” the statement reads.
The company reminded that the solution to the issue was found in the course of discussions between VivaCell-MTS, Yerevan Municipality and all the sides involved in the process.
