Rostelecom contest for journalists is ongoing

International journalists contest "Technology for Life – Internet at speed of light” has been organized and implemented in Armenia since 214 for journalists covering the IT sphere.

Rostelecom is the organizer of the International journalists contest.

Every year hundreds of journalists from Russia and Armenia take part in the contest and the winners visit big IT companies Ericsson (Stockholm, Sweden), Huawei (Shenzhen, China), ZTE (Shenzhen, China).

“When I heard about the competition, I decided to apply. It was an exceptional opportunity to be in a powerful country like China. Huawei Company in China was a tempting prize. I immediately imagined what an interesting journey it would be. Professional discussions, new contacts. It was a chance to be the center of events, see and learn about new projects, increase IT knowledge”, said 2015 winner, TV journalist Haykuhi Asatryan.

2016 contest launched in November 2015 and Armenian journalists can upload their articles in www.smi.rt.ru website by April 10 and become one of the winners that will leave for China in autumn.
