Beeline registers a growth of financial indicators in Q3

Beeline has summed up the financial and operational results of the third quarter of 2015.

According to the press release, the company's total operating income amounted to USD 30 mln in the third quarter which is 2 mln more than in the second quarter and 4 million more than the same indicator of the first quarter of this year.

EBITDA margin index has grown by 3 percentage points as compared to the same index of the first quarter having made 40.7%. EBITDA index in the third quarter has made USD12mln which exceeds the same index of the second quarter by USD1mln and surpasses the index of year’s first quarter by USD3mln.

“The company continues registering growth of income from the mobile services, mobile subscriber base. Thus, as of the third quarter of 2015, the number of mobile subscribers of Beeline Armenia exceeds 844 000 which is by 30 000 more than the same index of the second quarter.

Mobile network service revenues for the third quarter amounted to 1.54 million, which is 0.16 million more than same indicator of the second quarter.

“Successful indicators of the quarter show that Beeline continues to win the trust of the customers offering high quality, fast and convenient services. We are particularly pleased by the fact that more and more Beeline customers are ready to guarantee our services to their friends and acquaintances. This is evidenced by survey among customers”, said CEO of Beeline in Armenia, Andrey Pyatakhin.

The number of Beeline mobile internet subscribers has grown by 22 000 over the year, and the average volume of the traffic through the mobile phone has doubled. Over the year, the share of smartphones in the subscriber base has increased by 20% and the volume of smartphone customers’ internet use has almost doubled. The company believes that this is mainly due to sales of branded phones with internet connection.

Over the third quarter of 2015, Beeline’s capital investments made USD5mln which exceeds the same index of the second quarter by USD3mln.
