Regional Armenian EyeCare Center opens in Tavush with Orange support

Orange representatives are in Tavush region where the Regional EyeCare Center of the Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP) opened.

Orange Armenia has provided a technical solution ensuring local and international video connection, which enables the center to perform surgeries under the supervision of skilled Armenian and international experts through a real-time video connection from Ijevan center with Yerevan. 

“Innovations have always had an important place in our strategy. Since its entry to the market, Orange has committed maximum efforts to introduce modern technologies and innovative solutions in various Armenian sectors, including in healthcare and education. We are happy today to attend the opening of the anticipated Regional EyeCare Center along with our partners and we feel proud to have our input in making quality eye care services available for the population of this region through our innovative technical solution, which provides high-quality local and international connection,” said Member of the Executive Board of Orange Armenia Arsen Hovhannisyan.

Orange Armenia and AECP launched cooperation in 2011. Over this time, over 68 thousand residents in regions benefitted from “Bringing Sight to Armenian Eyes” project, and the Mobile Eye Hospital performed over 6000 surgeries and laser treatments.
