The Gala Concert of the 11th “National Gallery” International Music Festival was Held

On July 4th the Gala Concert of the 11th “National Gallery” International Music Festival took place in the Mural Paintings Hall of the National Gallery of Armenia. This year the festival launched on June 18. The festival, that has been held in the National Gallery of Armenia since 2005, is an awaited event for every art lover, and every concert organized in the frames of the festival is a magnificent opportunity for connoisseurs of classical music to encounter with high art.

Starting 2008 the festival has been included in the list of the State Assistance Programs of the RA Ministry of Culture.

The Gala-vocal concert program featured famous opera singers, representatives of the new generation of Armenian vocalists Varduhi Khachatryan /mezzo-soprano, Switzerland/, Liparit Avetisyan /tenor/, Davit Babayants /baritone/; concertmaster Armen Aghajanyan. The concert program included arias and parts from famous operas.

The general partner of the festival is VivaCell-MTS, the leading telecommunications operator in Armenia, which has undertaken the mission of support since 2006. In the course of nine years the company has allocated AMD 109,5 million for the organization of the annual festival.
