Armenian programmers have developed Dram Today app which allows a user to get the accurate currency rate of the Armenian dram provided by the Central Bank of Armenia and calculate the currency exchange.
The app which is available at Google Play also allows keeping track of the AMD fluctuations in form of diagrams.
The team is co-founded by Armen Khachatryan, Artak Drnoyan and Varazdat Avetisyan.
Armen Khachatryan tells Itel.am that the team has enlarged and now comprises 14 people.
“Over this period, we have managed to create a healthy and positive creative ambience where the team members study and create. We are now working in the spirit of a startup and the main investors are the team members - they invest time and energy. We have got assistance from Gavar community where the majority of the team members live”, he notes.
Armen Khachatryan doesn’t rule out that Dram Today will in future be represented not only on Android platform but others as well.
“While developing the app, we have tried to avoid excessive functions which can overload a user. We have already got numerous comments and offers on our Facebook page and we will take them into account during the launch of the updated version”, he notes.
Dram Today co-founder says that the team is open to investments and is ready to discuss mutually profitable offers.
It should be noted that there are already several similar websites on the Armenian market, for instance, Rate.am (Google Play, AppStore) and Currency.am (Google Play, AppStore).
