For the State Youth Orchestra the year starts with cooperation with its general partner VivaCell-MTS. The Company has been near the orchestra for years now and continuously supports all the initiatives of SYOA. Owing to the close partnership numerous innovative projects of the orchestra have been brought to life, famous musicians have been invited to Armenia.
Thanks to the partnership with VivaCell-MTS the orchestra not only had the opportunity to collaborate with outstanding musicians of our time but also to present the Armenian culture and the achievements of the Armenian performing arts school on foreign stages.

Definitely, this is what determines the achievements of the orchestra not only in Armenia but abroad as well. It is also important that these young people have the opportunity to stay in their homeland and fully realize themselves in their professional field», noted VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
As the outcome of the cooperation between the state committee coordinating the commemoration events dedicated to the centennial the Armenian genocide and VivaCell-MTS, as the official orchestra the State Youth Orchestra, for the second time already, has taken part in the Al Bustan International Festival held in Lebanon. The concerts given in the frames of the festival were commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Owing to the partnership with VivaCell-MTS, the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia introduced the practice of online broadcasting of classical music concerts in Armenia, applying modern technologies, thus, making its concerts available to both the audience present at the concert hall, and the music loving public from around the world.
“The sphere of art always needs support. We need sponsorship for presenting high art to the public constantly. VivaCell-MTS and namely, Ralph Yirikian are dedicated to this cause in Armenia. For many years they have ensured the propagation and development of high cultural values,” the artistic director and principal conductor of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia Sergey Smbatyan noted.
