13th British Film Festival sums up

Beeline, The British Council and British Embassy in Yerevan have summed up 13th British Film Festival presenting the results and the winners of the three contests.

Alternative posters for the festival films, “Best Love Message” and “Power of Love” contests were announced within the framework of the festival, along with Beeline.

23 works were submitted to the contest of alternative posters for the festival movies. British film expert Christine Bardsley (UK) selected the three winning posters. Hrachya Hakobyan’s poster for “Imitation Game,” Srbuhi Achoyan’s poster for “The Invisible Woman” and Zina Grigoryan’s poster for “Virunga” were named winners.

“Best Love Message” contest was announced by Beeline. 126 messages were posted. Participants with the most number of votes – Hayk Margaryan, Samvel Vardanyan, Anna Andreasyan and Lusine Mehrabyan – were named winners and received Beeline Smart phones. Susanna Harutyunyan, Ani Amirkhanyan and Levon Yesayan received encouraging prizes from the British Council.

106 photos were submitted to “Power of Love” photo contest. Three participants were named winners considering the uniqueness of the idea and the professional fulfillment – Mary Bayatyan, Christina Danielyan and Rafael Melik-Israyelyan. The winners were selected by Karen Mirzoyan. Tatevik Zadoyan received the prize of Beeline Armenia CEO and was awarded a Beeline Smart phone.

I congratulate the contest winners on behalf of Beeline – their works proved once again that we have talented and accomplished youth and that our joint efforts and support will help them conquer new heights,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

13th British Film Festival started on February 14 in Yerevan and on March 5 – in regions. 7 feature movies and a documentary were screened. Over 8000 people had a chance to attend the screenings.
