Beeline, British Council and the British Embassy in Yerevan announced the start of 13th British Film Festival in Armavir region.
Three British Film Festival movies will be screened at Armavir Palace of Culture on March 20-24. The entrance is free. The Festival will be opened by “The Invisible Woman” movie.
“By supporting the British Film Festival, we not only contribute to the screening of best movies but also try to introduce children to the culture of other countries and world-famous works of cinematographic art. I attach great importance to the screening of these movies in regions. I have met many talented children in various regions, and I am sure that after the screening of these movies their mental outlook will broaden and their creativity will develop, and Beeline will help the young change their life for the better,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
“This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the best British films. It is noteworthy that the films present the life and emotions of people, their everyday life and emotional experiences, thus recreating the picture of modern Britain and the Britain of various ages,” said Arts Project Manager at the British Council Narek Tovmasyan.
13th British Film Festival kicked off on February 14 in Yerevan and on March 5 – in regions. “Imitation Game”, “Belle”, “The Invisible Woman”, “The Possibilities are Endless”, “X+Y”, “Virunga”, “Love is All” and “A Night at the Cinema in 1914” films were screened during the festival. To date, over 7500 people attended the film screenings in Yerevan and regions.
