British films to be screened in marzes with Beeline support

Beeline, British Council and British Embassy in Yerevan announced the start of the 13th British Film Festival.

The Festival is dedicated to love this year.

The Festival films will be screened in different towns of Tavush, Ararat and Armavir marzes in March. The screenings will begin at UWC Dilijan with Belle film on March 5. Virunga and Love is All will be screened within next days. The films will be accompanied with Armenian subtitles. 

“It’s critical for us that young people in marzes also have the chance to get acquainted with modern British cinematography which will broaden the mindset of talented Armenian people and contribute to development of Armenian cinematography”, Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin said this. 

“Each year, the Festival films are also screened in marzes. Every year, we choose various marzes which allow us to make the Festival available in the whole republic. This time as well the films will be screened in various towns and be available to more people”, said Director of British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan.

After Dilijan, the Festival films will also be screened in Ararat, Artashat, Vedi towns and Nor Kharberd community on March 16-18. Then the films will be screened in Armavir town on March 20-22. The entrance is free.

The 13th British Film Festival in Yerevan hosted the following films: The Imitation Game, Belle, The Invisible Woman, The Possibilities are Endless, X+Y, Virunga and Love is All.
