Orange announced the results of the first chess tournament organized for Orange Premier White and Black customers.
The tournament, which took place on the 30th of November at the Tigran Petrosian Chess house, was organized between 27 preselected Orange Premier White and Black Diamond customers.
The winner of the tournament Arsen Naghdalyan, has received the Grand Prix - an exclusive opportunity to spend a full day at one of the world’s most important chess events - Zurich Chess Challenge to be held from February 13-19. The package includes hotel reservation and air tickets provided by Air France, the partner of the tournament.

We want our Orange Premier customers to feel unique and have the chance to interact with each other more often. This is already the second tournament we have organized this year, following the tennis challenge brought to them in May. We hope that such tournaments will become a good tradition, complementing extensive benefits dedicated to our Premier customers, and our partner Air France will continue to support Orange Premier tournaments”, said Francis Gelibter, General Director of Orange Armenia.
A special surprise awaited the participant of the tournament. The 4 best players had a unique chance to play against the honorable guest of the tournament Tigran Petrosyan, Double Olympic Champion, Multiple Champion of Armenia. Based on the simultaneous exhibitions as well as blind games held with the semi-finalists, Tigran Petrosyan granted his special “Tactical player” prize to Haykuhi Aleksanyan. Gor Chalian and Arthur Mkrtchyan received books signed by Tigran Petrosyan.
To remind, in May 2014 a tennis tournament was organized for Orange Premier Black customers. The winner of the tournament received a package to attend Roland Garros worldwide known tennis tournament on May 30, access to the Orange village, hotel reservation and air tickets. The prize for the second place was a special gift card provided by Incourt Tennis club, the partner of the tournament.
