ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) and Microsoft Armenia Office introduced a free app of Armenian-language video classes for the phones operating on Windows Phone system.
The application features 10-15-minute video lessons on Armenian grammar and Microsoft’s educational programs, Mediamax reports.
“Our company pays considerable attention to development of Armenian-language content. I hope the program will boost development of Armenian-language mobile pass in Armenia and introduction of new mobile technologies in education field“, said ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
Director of Microsoft Office in Armenia Grigor Barseghyan said that Armenian Ministry of Education and Science contributed to development of the program and the classes meet the standards of state educational programs.
“I myself looked through a few classes and find them very useful. Pupils can revise their lessons on their way to school and get good marks“, said Grigor Barseghyan.
Besides, he thinks that the app will be very handy for Armenians in Diaspora.
As of now, the app features video lessons on Armenian grammar of 7-8th grades and Miscrosfot educational programs.
Grigor Barseghyan added that the syllabi of various subjects taught in schools will be added to the app in future and they will be available not only on mobile phones but also electronic devices. The video classes are available at www.mlg.am, the app will be available on Market in about a month.
