Orange Foundation opened a new computer center in Davtashen village

Orange Foundation has opened another computer center, this time in Davtashen village, Aragatsotn region, with the support of Shen charitable NGO. The newly opened center is equipped with 7 computers, a printer, Orange MyFi 3G router, which allows up to 21.6Mbps download speed, and comfortable furniture. Special computer courses will be provided to further promote the use of these equipment and make Internet services more available for the inhabitants of Davtashen village.   

“Orange Foundation attributes a lot of importance to the development of rural communities. We believe this computer center will allow the inhabitants of Davtashen village to benefit from advantages presented by the rapidly developing modern technologies and will contribute to educational, as well as social aspects of their lives”,- said Francis Gelibter, Chairman of the Board of the Orange Foundation.

This initiative of Orange Foundation is a part of the strategic program of supporting the sustainable development of remote and vulnerable communities. It aims at supporting social and economic development of communities, allowing them fully benefit from the advantages offered by high technologies.
