Online payment for Beeline services available through Visa and MasterCard

ArmenTel (Beeline brand) and Ameriabank announced the launch of a service of online payments for Beeline subscribers.

ArmenTel customers will be able to pay for all Beeline services through Visa and MasterCard cards. You can make an online payment for the services at www.beeline.am. To make the payment, a subscriber should have valid Visa and MasterCard issued by any bank. The cardholders don't need to register the virtual card. The service is also available for users of ArCa virtual cards.

"Beeline and Ameriabank joint initiative should be considered as a considerable step in development of e-commerce in Armenia. The launch of online payment jointly with our partner is aimed at making Beeline services maximum convenient. Now all Visa and MasterCard holders can make payments for the services even without registering virtual payment cards", noted ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

"Realizing the importance of development of non-cash transactions, Ameriabank worked out a software tool vPOS (virtual terminal) which will facilitate the process of payments through VISA, MasterCard and ArCa and their further servicing on e-commerce sites. ArmenTel and Ameriabank joint initiative creates a new chance of online payments for all Beeline services. High level of payments security is guaranteed by use of technologies such as VbV (Verified by VISA) and 3DSecure", noted Ameriabank CEO Artak Hanesyan.

To make payments online, clients are required to enter their subscription number, amount payable and card details, after which the amount will be automatically transferred to the payer’s balance. Payments for Beeline communication services can be made at www.beeline.am.

To process online payments Ameriabank has been granted a VISA acquiring license, enabling the bank to accept payments by VISA, MasterCard and ArCa cards from e-merchants, using Visa Verified technologies.
