VivaCell-MTS says the information about subscriber base hack is an “absolute lie”

VivaCell-MTS totally denies any opportunity that there can be any unauthorized access to VivaCell-MTS’ subscribers database, company stated today.

“It is to note that VivaCell-MTS has a strict information security policy put in place, in full compliance with the requirements of respective Republic of Armenia legislation, and corresponding to best-practice international standards. Technically, Vivacell-MTS’ databases are well-protected, with required means, against probable hacker attacks and leaks. VivaCell-MTS has created and is gradually implementing necessary information security policies, procedures, and information security management systems, against the requirement of ISO/IEC 27001 international information security standard”, statement reads.
