"ArmenTel" (Beeline trademark) announced the start of the works for digitization of landline phone infrastructure of the village of Vahan of Chambarak district of Gegharkunik marz.
During the works, the main lines will be reconstructed and fiber-optic cable will be installed. Current subscriber lines will be switched to a new digital station.
Upon completion of modernization scheduled for December 18, 2013, the high-quality digital landline and wired fiber optic ADSL2+ internet services will be available to the villagers.

Pursuing the policy of even development of the regions, we modernize the network across the whole country to provide quality voice connection and high-quality broadband internet in all the settlements of Armenia", noted "ArmenTel" CJSC CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
"ArmenTel" carries out regular digitization of network in all the regions of Armenia. Earlier in October, the landline network of the village of Urtsadzor of Ararat region was digitized. The overall length of the cables of the company's subscriber network exceeds 13 000km and the length of the fiber-optic network - 3500km.
