ArmenTel to support development of Armenian-language mobile apps

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) jointly with "Center for Technological Development" foundation announced the start of the program aimed at developing Armenian-language mobile apps within AppCON 2013 international conference.

The organizers invite individuals and legal entities working in Armenia to present their offers on cooperation aimed at developing mobile content downloading it in a special form placed on app.am at www.app.am/submit.html.

The cooperation offers may be submitted starting from December 1 up to March 31, 2014. The offers will be considered by a group which initiated the project and the authors of the most promising ideas will get financial support from the Foundation.

"Mobile apps are more and more in demand and now make part of the daily routine. Only a few of the apps are adjusted to the Armenian language and society. I am sure the program will considerably boost the development of the mobile apps market and contribute to involving the youth into the field having a large potential. As the largest telecommunication operator in Armenia, ArmenTel will continue supporting programs aimed at further development of the market and help change people's lives for the better", noted the company's CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
