"Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" Armenian contest summed up

First "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" Armenian contest was summed up.

Five teams took part in the final round on June 2 - "Sky Spy", "Eagle eye", "Dangerous sky", "Fly Art" and "Armdroid", the organizer of the event, Union of IT Enterprises reports.

The teams designed and developed such aerial vehicles which examine the area during the flight, identify the location signs, send online images, find the special point, throw 300g load and come back to the starting point.

"Eagle eye" team got the highest points and took the first place and was awarded AMD500 thousand. "Dangerous sky" team is the second - AMD400 thousand. "Armdroig" is the third with AMD300  thousand money award. Two other films- "Fly Art" and "Sky Spy" - were awarded honor prizes - AMD150 thousand each.

Next contest is scheduled to be held in May 2014.

The contest is organized by UITE and VivaCell-MTS is the general sponsor.
