IBM to study ways of supporting Armenia's economic potential

The Armenian government and IBM signed a memorandum of understanding to study the options of long-term cooperation.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan expressed the confidence that the memorandum will contribute to implementation of bilateral innovative programs.

"I am sure our cooperation will give a new impetus to development of information technologies in Armenia as well", said Tigran Sargsyan.

Within the memorandum, the sides are due to work out an agreement on establishing Center for IBM Innovative Solutions and Technologies.

Owing to the memorandum, the sides will study the scope of participation of Armenian educational institutions to expand knowledge in IT and particularly cyber security and e-commerce spheres.
