Taxes paid by mobile operators grow by over 50%

As of the first quarter of 2013, the three Armenian operators paid taxes of AMD 8.14bln which exceeds the same index of 2012 by AMD 2.7bln or 50.26%.

K-Telecom (VivaCell-MTS trademark) is the third among 1000 largest taxpayers by the volume of paid taxes. The overall volume of taxes paid by the company as of January -March 2013 makes AMD3bln 815.1mln.  Against the first quarter, the taxes paid by the company increased by 39.4%.

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) is the 4th having paid taxes of AMD3bln 733.9mln. The company's taxes grew by 82.3% as of the first quarter of 2012.

Orange Armenia is the 40th having paid AMD 592.5mln taxes. The latter decreased the taxes by 6.5% as compared to the same period of 2012.

As of the first quarter of 2013, Ucom (110th position with AMD259.5mln) and GNC-Alfa operating under Rostelecom brand (193d position with AMD 132.2), Armenian Datacom Company (763d position with AMD28.7mln) and Interactive TV (832nd position with AMD 25.6mln) were among the 1000 largest taxpayers of the internet providing companies.
