Orange opens computer centers in Martuni and Chambarak

Two modern computer centers furnished with Orange broadband Internet were opened recently in Martuni and Chambarak towns of Gegharkunik region that allow the inhabitants of these two locations to use modern technologies, company informs.

“Understanding that not everyone can afford to have a computer at home and have access to internet, we feel it’s our responsibility to support these vulnerable groups, especially in the Armenian regions, where internet is just starting to become an everyday tool.”
Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO said.

The computer center of Martuni has been created in cooperation with Eurasia Partnership Foundation. Thanks to the 5 computers, printer and Orange Flybox router the computer center provides computer classes, but also those of use of blogging platforms and online journalism. For the creation of this computer center Orange has allotted AMD 2 mln.

The computer center of Chambarak has been created in cooperation with the local “Berkashat” NGO.  For the creation of this computer center Orange has allotted AMD 1.9 mln.
