The share of Orange in the sale of smartphones in Armenia reached 25% from 7% during a year, company’s CEO Francis Gelibter said today.
According to him, the company sells in average 2000 smartphones every month, which significantly exceeds the data of early 2012.
Francis Gelibter also said that Orange negotiates with a Chinese smartphone producer company to introduce its production in Armenia. “Besides the good price we also value the quality of our goods,” said Francis Gelibter.
He noted that the company currently has 510 thousand mobile and 90 thousand Internet subscribers. “The number of subscribers significantly grew in 2012, which allowed us to increase company’s revenues by 40% (AMD 7bln),” the company’s CEO said.
