Eventot to provide more quality information on upcoming events

Armenian eventot.com startup launched a new anti-spam algorithm aimed at filtering non-quality information and providing information only on quality events which are really expected to take place.

Commenting on the launch of the new algorithm, co-founder of the project Arshak Ulubabyan said that the change will be more important for big cities where thousands of events are organized daily and information on the majority of them is provided at eventot.com.

Armenian users will also experience the positive results of the new changes as there is sometimes spam on the announcements of Yerevan events. For example, some Armenian on-line media in order to attract visitors recently started using a new type of spam creating fake events on the social networks which didn't exist and called on reading and discussing this or that article. The new algorithm is going to rule out such fake events on the Eventot poster page.

Eventot.com is an aggregator of events which collects, categorizes and disseminates information on upcoming events of numerous cities of the world.

The project was launched in Armenia in 2011.
