VivaCell-MTS to allocate AMD1.2bln to cultural projects in 2013

In 2013, VivaCell-MTS will allocate AMD1.2bln to implementation of cultural projects.

The company's General Manager Ralph Yirikian said this today presenting the projects of cooperation with the Armenian Ministry of Culture, Mediamax reports.

Attaching importance to the cultural sphere, he said that  culture is one of the cornerstones of the preservation of a society's identity. Ralph Yirikian urged other companies to support the Armenian culture "to develop at high paces".

Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan said in her turn that with VivaCell-MTS support, "Sayat-Nova" musical will be staged in the theater after G. Sundukyan, Aram Khachatryan's 100th anniversary will be market, a movie about the composer's creative path will be made by an American company  and a number of music festivals will be sponsored this year.

All in all, VivaCell-MTS allocated around AMD6.5bln to implementation of cultural projects and AMD953mln were allocated in 2012. --0--
