Yerevan/Mediamax/. The second Panarmenian “Web Apricot” online film festival’s winners announced.
The online film festival launched a month ago presented 15 feature and documentary films, VivaCell-MTS (competition’s general sponsor) informs.
Upon the juries’ decision, the grand-prix went to Vardan Danielyan’s “Sketches from the Fields of Voskevaz” mentioned for creativity of narration of reality with the rules of classic documentary cinema. The second prize was given to “Beard” documentary by Ashot Hovsepyan for revealing the luminous character of a person living in dire social conditions. The third prize was shared between “Zakat” feature film by Andranik Harutyunyan and “The Armenian Senior” documentary by Samvel Seyranyan.
Arshak Zakaryan’s “The Woman” received the “Sympathy” encouragement prize and a special certificate.
The juries, including writer Armen Ohanyan, scriptwriter Hambardzum Hambardzumyan, art critic Seda Shekoyan, film critics Davit Vardazaryan and Raffi Movsisyan, named the winners of the three prizes set by the contest organizers.
The awarding ceremony took place at VivaCell-MTS headquarters.
“The presentation films online is a wonderful tool for both the beginners and the specialists to reach maximum results with minimum means. Internet is a means serving to the process. The age of technologies has set a new benchmark for everyone,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian commented.
