D-Link to establish a research and testing center in Gyumri Technopark

Yerevan/Mediamax/.  Advisor of the Armenian Minister of Economy Vahe Danielyan stated today that reconstruction works of the main building of Gyumri Technopark will finish in 18 months.

According to Vahe Danielyan, the terriotry of about 6 300 square kilometers will be reconstructed-5500 square kilemters wills serve a modern technological territory and the remaining area will be meant for service corps.

”After finishing the reconstruction, we’ll have a center with modern technological infrastructure equipped with incubation territory with the capacity of concurrent incubation of about 20 companies, lab corps and educational center”, he said.

The program costs AMD1bln 677 mln.

The government approved the draft memorandum of cooperation with D-Link.

Vahe Danielyan said that D-Link will set up a separate chain technological, research and testing center within the Gyumri Technopartk program.

The center is scheduled to start operation in June 2013. The program costs USD8.5mln and USD 1 mln will be allocated for establishment of a testing and research lab.
