We should preserve the nature – it’s Armenia’s most valuable capital, Ralph Yirikian thinks

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” General Manager Ralph Yirikian stated today that “we should preserve the nature – it’s Armenia’s most valuable capital”.

Ralph Yirikian said this during a press conference devoted to “Earth Day 2012” campaign today, Mediamax reports.

“Armenia is a small country with limited natural resources and the preservation and right management of them is of vital importance to it. We should demonstrate relevant understanding and responsibility for preservation of our nature and enhancement of awareness of future generations on environmental problems”, said Ralph Yirikian.

Within “Earth Day 2012” campaign, it’s planned to plant trees in the community of Urtsadzor of the Ararat marzes where the part of the buffer zone at the state “Khosrov Woods” reserve under the patronage of the Fund for Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) of Armenia is situated.

As head of the Fund Ruben Khachatryan said it’s planned to plant 2000 in this area.

“VivaCell-MTS” supports implementing of “SMS- Planting of Trees” program within the Fund’s campaign. The event on planting trees through a short message named “Present Your Tree to Your Country” will continue up to April 30.
On April 27, the Fund of the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets jointly with VivaCell-MTS and Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute will collect and cultivate flowers at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial for the third time this year.
