Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) became the first corporate member of Cafesjian Center for the Arts. During the solemn ceremony today, Acting Executive Director of the Center Vahagn Marabyan presented to ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko a certificate on “Benefactor” level corporate membership for supporting educational and creative programs for children and youth over 2011.
“Corporate membership program of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts has recently been launched and it provides various privileges to the Center’s corporate partners depending to the membership level. Today we welcome “ArmenTel”, the first corporate member of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The corporate membership certificate we grant today will allow the company’s employees to visit the exhibitions and events of the Center at discounted rates. We’ll offer special initiations and tours and many other things allowing incorporating art and culture into the business life of our partner. Thus, not only do we express our gratitude towards the company for the support but also show our readiness for further mutually beneficial partnership”, stated Vahagn Marabyan.
“In February 2011, we became the first corporate sponsor of the Center. Over the year, thousands of children from the capital and regions got acquainted with the collection of the museum which is constantly being updated, attended the creative groups and not only could just see but try themselves as “masters” of the modern applied arts. As the year has passed, we can say that our practice of cooperation is an excellent example of interaction of business and art in upbringing the younger generation. I am grateful to the Cafesjian Fund-Museum for the award, for the valuable experience of cooperation owing to which we managed to make a considerable contribution to the social and cultural life of the city”, said ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.
It should be noted that over 2011, ArmenTel supported the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in regular holding of creative workshops, concerts of classical music and other educational projects meant for aesthetic education of children and the youth. The projects implemented are particularly as follows: “Art and Imagination” children’s creative program for children aged 6-12 based on the exposition of the Czech sculptor Ivan Shramkova, informative program for higher school pupils based on the exhibition of the first Armenian glass designer Henrikh Nikoyan, creative program for teenagers aged 12-17 devoted to the Holy Easter, spring and rebirth and many others. All in all, about 5000 children took part in the programs of Cafesjian Center for the Arts in 2011.
