ArmenTel and “Adrenalin” plan to hold a winter extreme sports festival

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Lori Extreme 2012” off-road driving contest of Jeep-Trial class was held in the Lori marz of Armenia on February 12, upon the initiative of ArmenTel and “Adrenalin” Association of Extreme Sports of Armenia.

25 vehicles of amateurs of Jeep-Trial sports nomination took part in the contest. About 2000 car lovers from Yerevan and Armenian marzes attended the event, ArmenTel reports.

As a result of the numerous spectacular driving, Sahakyan Lendrush on Toyota Fortuner won the contest, Tiratsyan Minas on Ford Maverick was the second and Gevorgyan Arsen on Mitsubishi lo was the third. All the finalists represented the marz of Lori. They were awarded by the organizers of the tournament, “Adrenalin” Association of Extreme Sports and ArmenTel.

“I am pleased to note that “Lori Extreme 2012” rally proved greatly interesting for professionals and amateurs. We plan to hold a winter extreme sports festival in the nearest future which will include various disciplines of off-road and quads driving up to snowboard and parkour”, noted ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.

Jeep-Trial is a vehicle contest held on the highway with artificial and natural barriers, on speed and skillfulness of passing a route divided into sections. The goal of the contest is to pass the route through the indicated gates for a minimum period of time.
