Yerevan/Mediamax/. The first internet center for people with vision problems opened in Yerevan today within the framework of a joint program of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia, UNESCO and International Telecommunication Union.
Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan said today that the center is equipped with 15 computers, Mediamax reports. According to him, the center enables the people having eye sight problems to study and communicate with the world.
The visitors of the center may use the Braille system as well as audio and video voice regime. The services provided by the center are free of charge.
The necessary equipment for the center was provided by the International Telecommunication Union.
