Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak to arrive in Yerevan today

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Apple Co-Founder Stephen Wozniak will arrive in Yerevan today to be presented the Armenian President’s “World Authority on IT” award.

VivaCell-MTS which is the general sponsor of the President’s award confirmed the news on Stephen Wozniak’s arrival today.

The first Armenian President’s “World Authority on IT” award was given to former Intel Chairman of the Board Craig Barrett in 2010. The award is initiated by “Synopsis Armenia”.

Apple Computer was created by Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak on April 1, 1976. At that time Stephen Wozniak quit Hewlett-Packard and became Apple Vice President responsible for Apple’s scientific researches and development.

“Synopsys Armenia” told Mediamax that Steve Wozniak will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in Yerevan.

Stephen Wozniak is expected to spend 3 days in Armenia.
