Mediamax among the top 10 of most quoted Armenian resources on Yandex News

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian sites get an average of 12 000 referrals to their news through Yandex News service.

Lev Gershenzon, the leading developer of the service, said this at the workshop on “How Yandex News works” subject.

According to him, it makes approximately 3 % out of the total number of referrals from Yandex News. All in all, 25 Armenian internet publications are registered in the service and they provide content in the volume of 800 news publications a day.

Mediamax news agency is among the top 10 of the most quoted Armenian resources on Yandex News.

“Despite rather modest indices, we plan to make Yandex News more user-friendly in Armenia”, said Lev Gershenzon.

A geo-focus is determined to each plot at this phase and plots with “Armenia” geo-focus make part of the news publication for Armenia.
