“ArmenTel” backs the development of classical music in Armenia’s regions

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, “ArmenTel” and the Classical Music Development Foundation announced the launch of a long-term cooperation project.

Mediamax reports that within the framework of the cooperation, cello classes will open in Armenia’s regions and a number of concerts and master-classes of Aram Khachaturian trio will be performed, following which the most talented pupils will receive a scholarship.

“Being the largest national operator of Armenia, “ArmenTel” realizes its role in upbringing the young talents who can continue the best traditions of the Armenian classical music,” “ArmenTel” Director General Igor Klimko said.

Member of the Board of Guardians of the Classical Music Development Foundation, Karen Shakhgaldyan, said for his part that “having such a partner will allow them to create a very high level of cooperation between the classical music and the business in Armenia.”
