Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Founder of “Dasaran.am” project Suren Aloyan and the general sponsor of the program VivaCell-MTS signed a cooperation agreement on establishing a joint electronic system today.
Mediamax reports that Armen Ashotyan said that “this is a program of conceptual significance. All schools of Yerevan will be involved in the first round of the program launch thus establishing a comprehensive environment aimed to provide the “pupil-parent-teacher” contact”. The Minister noted that the project will operate on a free basis.
Armen Ashotyan added that establishment of the electronic system will allow ensuring the transparency of school system. Besides, it will allow parents to keep their child's education in the focus of attention as. The Minister noted that the project bears an exact anti-corruption character.
In his turn, Ralph Yirikian noted that it is very important to involve schools from marzes into this project, and unless this item of the project is fulfilled the company will quit the program.
The program founder said that at the moment 46 schools from Yerevan joined the program which has about 30 000 possible subscribers.
