Results of “Kangaroo -2011” game competition in Armenia summed up

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Winner of the Annual International “Kangaroo-2011” Math Game Competition in Armenia is a fourth grade student from Karmir village of Gegharkunik marz Araksi Gasparyan.

Mediamax reports that the Executive Director of “Ayb” Educational Foundation David Sahakyan noted that the results of the competition evidence growth of math knowledge among students of schools.

As an award, the winner of the competition received a notebook, as well as an encyclopedia.

This year, around 37 thousand students of 3rd-12th grades from 925 schools of Armenia and NKR participated in the game competition.

For the first time Armenia participated in the competition in 2009. Every year around 50 countries participate in the competition.
