Yerevan/Mediamax/. 4th All-Armenian Painting Contest, initiated by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets and “VivaCell-MTS”, was launched in Yerevan Zoo today.
The contest aims at uniting children around nature preservation.
“Our company stands by such important initiatives with pride. We realize that it is time to get united for the sake of nature preservation and each person should start from keeping the surrounding environment clean”, Ralph Yirikian, General Manager of VivaCell-MTS, said.
The official website of the contest is www.paintingday.sunchild.org. There, children at the age of 5-16, living in any corner of the world, will have the chance to upload the electronic variants of their paintings.
The contest will last till September 1, 2011. The results of the contest will be summed up within the framework of third international “Sunchild” Environment Protection Festival, which is to take place on October 14-18.
