Number of internet users in Armenia has increased 6 times over the past two years

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan said today that the number of internet users in Armenia has increased 6 times over the past two years and makes over one third of the republic’s population now.

Mediamax reports that Minister said this at the session of the CIS Member Countries’ Coordination Council for Informatization, taking place in Yerevan.

Manuk Vardanyan noted that penetration of mobile connection in Armenia has reached 100%, the quality of provided services improved, almost a full transition to digital connection has been realized.
