“Fibernet” doesn’t think company’s cable was damaged by competitor’s order

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Fibernet” company issued a statement today saying that the communication on international channels on May 20 was interrupted because of malefactors’ actions who have cut the company’s cable.

“Thanks to operative and coordinated actions of “Fibernet” and “South Caucasus Railway” (SCR) CJSC the damaged part of the cable was restored in shortest possible time. SCR representatives drew up a statement of the incident and investigation is underway. We hope SCR representatives can present detailed information on the incident after the investigation is completed,” the statement issued by “Fibernet” reads.

“In spite of the widespread opinion that our rivals have done it, we are, certainly, not inclined to think so. We would like to note that despite very tough competition on the market we manage to preserve healthy relations with competitors. In particular, “Fibernet” has been actively negotiating with competitor companies and received concrete commercial offers which allow leasing reserve channels on the territory of Armenia to avoid such situations in the future.  We would also like to state that our company has quite recently taken a number of steps to provide communication channel reservation outside Armenia. Details will be endorsed in the nearest future,” the statement reads.
