By the end of July, “ArmenTel” will secure 100% digitalization of Yerevan landline connection network
Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” CJSC (Beeline trademark) announces the launch of the process of Yerevan Nubarashen District 47A analogue ATS’s digitalization process.
Mediamax was informed in the press service of the company that the works on shifting 2000 subscriber lines of 47A ATS subscribers of Nubarashen unit to digital connection will be completed by the end of July, 2011, which will allow fully providing digital connection services for all subscribers of “ArmenTel” landline connection in the capital city.
“I am very pleased that exactly Yerevan is on one of the first among CIS capital cities to be fully covered with landline connection digital network. This will allow us already today speaking of the fact that high quality broadband internet access – Hi-Line – is available for all residents of the Armenian capital, which has a million of population”, “ArmenTel” CJSC General Director Igor Klimko said.
After completion of 47A ATS (Nubarashen unit) digitalization, over 81% of ArmenTel” landline connection subscribers all over the country will be connected to digital stations of telephone connection.
