Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian was hosted by two prestigious higher education institutions of Lebanon - the American University of Science and Technology and Haigazian University.

The major topics of the interactive lectures were the management culture of business, VivaCell-MTS’ model of productivity as well as the ways to sustaining national identity through visiting and more engagement in Armenia as interns and volunteers.

The model of productivity culture presented by Ralph Yirikian took shape and was elaborated during the hard path of VivaCell-MTS to success. He noted that VivaCell-MTS boosts its success and at the same time contributes to the country’s economic development by making better use of its most precious resource – its employees.

“The results are apparent: VivaCell-MTS is the first and only mobile operator in Armenia to launch 4G/Long-Term Evolution (LTE) network in Yerevan on commercial test basis (December 20, 2010), positioning Armenia as a as one of the selected (Top Ten) telecom leaders in 4G deployment, and as a country with attractive communication infrastructure. In addition, 4G roaming was launched for the first time in the world. The network’s theoretical capacity showcased via the speed test 150 Mbps download and 50Mbps upload. Again, for the first time in Armenia (March 2, 2011), VivaCell-MTS launched HSPA+ network running at 21.6 Mbps”, VivaCell-MTS General Manager noted.

“Armenia’s most precious resource is its people. All Armenians around the world should be enabled to use their talents and apply them fully in a professional setting, contributing to the collective benefit of the Nation. VivaCell-MTS, one of Armenian companies, provides opportunity to Armenian students from different countries to engage in real working environment of the Company and become professionals.  We call on other companies in Armenia and Diaspora to also help youth with closing the gap between theory and practice and becoming professionals,” told Ralph Yirikian.
