Yerevan/Mediamax/. Solemn opening of the new head office of Ucom internet provider with participation of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian took place in Yerevan today.
Mediamax reports that General Director of the Company Hayk Yesayan stated that in the new office everyone can get familiar with the services of the company and test them on the spot.
Early next year, Ucom intends to start provision of services in Yerevan Kanaker-Zeytun, Avan and Nor Nork communities, and by the end of 2011, it plans to have covered the entire territory of Yerevan and start provision of coverage outside the capital city (at present, the provider’s services are available in Kentron, Arabkir and Davitashen communities of Yerevan).
By the end of the year, in addition to internet and interactive television services of Ucom, the company will also provide IP telephony services. Hayk Yesayan informed that the number of the company’s subscribers exceeds 6000.
