Number of Beeline broadband internet subscribers increased almost by 220%

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Net operating proceeds of “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) in the third quarter, 2010, reduced by 7.2%, as compared to the analogous period of last year, making AMD 17bln 785mln (USD 48.7mln).

Mediamax reports referring the operating and financial results of “VimpelCom Ltd.” that in the third quarter, 2010, the net operating proceeds from “ArmenTel” mobile business increased by 1.6%, as compared to the analogous period last year (making AMD 7bln 698mln or USD 21.1mln), and the proceeds from landline business reduced by 13%, making AMD 10bln 87mln (USD 13.3mln).

Operating income of “ArmenTel” before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) made AMD 8bln 74mln in the third quarter of 2010, having reduced by 17.7%, as compared to the same period of 2009.

The number of subscriber agreements in mobile segment of “ArmenTel” increased by 15.7%, as compared to the third quarter of 2009, making 581 thousands as of September 30, 2010. The number of broadband internet subscribers increased in the accounting period by 219.3% (39.7 thousands), making 57.8 thousands.

Average monthly revenue of Beeline per one subscriber of mobile connection in Armenia (ARPU) made AMD 4 176 in the third quarter, having reduced by 18.4%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009. At that, MOU index (number of minutes users per one subscriber per month) increased in the third quarter by 6.6%, as compared to the analogous period last year, and made 286.7 minutes.
