“VivaCell-MTS” launched test Wi-Fi network in Yerevan

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” announced today the launch of Wi-Fi network test operation in four zones in Yerevan.

Mediamax reports that General Manager of the Company Ralph Yirikian said this at a news conference in Yerevan today.

He stated that Wi-Fi network will be free of charge before the end of January on territories, adjacent to Yerevan Public Library, Armenian State University of Economics, State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, as well as State Pedagogical University.

According to Ralph Yirikian, in order to get connected, the owners of devices, which support Wi-Fi connection, should simply find and connect to “VivaCell-MTS” network.

“By provision of Wi-Fi service in public places, “VivaCell-MTS” makes another step in the direction of providing convenient and quality services to our subscribers”, Ralph Yirikian stated.

He noted that the company has not yet made a final decision on the tariffs these services will be provided at in future, noting that in 2011, “VivaCell-MTS” intends to secure Wi-Fi access for all recreation zones in the capital city.
