Orange Armenia presented 4G network capacities

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange Armenia Company demonstrated today the capacities of 4G network technology.

Mediamax reports that this presentation was dated to one year anniversary of Orange activity in Armenia.

According to the Company’s CEO Bruno Duthoit, in a short-term prospect, Orange Armenia does not intend to build LTE (4G) network in Armenia, since the company introduced 3G+ network recently, which meets the needs of subscribers. “However, we are ready to take up the next stage, if all necessary conditions for that are established”, Bruno Duthoit stated. He stressed that this presentation only confirms the goal of the company to be a leader in the market of innovative offers and is the contribution of Orange EXPO advanced technologies’ exhibition.

Presentation of 4G network, the speed of which reached 160Mbps (download) and 50Mbps (upload), was organized jointly with Nokia Siemens Network (NSN) Company. According to NSN Armenia General Director Murad Vardzelyan, the company is a leader in the sphere of implementation of LTE or 4G technologies and is glad for cooperation with Orange Armenia Company.

Demo version of 4G network is available for familiarization in Orange Armenia head office on November 4 and 5.
