Media should secure contact between business and the society, “VivaCell-MTS” Head believes

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian believes that one of the important functions of journalism is to secure contact between business and the society.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of “VivaCell-MTS” that Ralph Yirikian said this at his meeting with students of Journalism Faculty of YSU.

“Journalism is a most important and responsible profession in establishing a dialogue and transparent relations among various layers of the society. Companies of all types should be in the center of mass communication outlets’ attention, and this will stimulate enterprises in demonstrating responsible attitude towards customers and the society”, General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” stated.

“One should not forget about another function of journalism, namely securing contact between the society and business. Along with other sources, companies learn about how their activity is perceived by the society via media outlets, publications of which play an important role in forming an idea on the image and the rating of the company”, Ralph Yirikian stated.
