“AybLab” for information science education opened in Berd

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Opening of a laboratory for teaching information science took place at N1 secondary school of Berd town of Tavush region of Armenia today within the framework of “AybLab” program of “Ayb” Educational Foundation.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foundation, the laboratory possesses 10 computers and is meant for practical and theoretical classes, each consisting of 20 pupils. The laboratory enters the single network of “AybLab” on experience exchange, joint use of resources, application of common management technologies, etc.

One of the founders of “Ayb” Educational Foundation, financier Artur Berd (France/USA) became the sponsor of the information science “AybLab”.

Along with programs on developing and improving educational programs in Armenia, “Ayb” Foundation elaborates and installs modern educational laboratories at schools. The first laboratories on physics and chemistry were opened at Yerevan special physics-mathematics school after A. Shahinyan. Establishment of educational “AybLabs” on various subjects continues at a number of schools in Yerevan and the regions of Armenia.
