“VivaCell-MTS” launched official sales of HTC smartphones in Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. HTC smartphones on the platform of Android operational system are presented in “VivaCell-MTS” service centers.

Mediamax reports that General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian said this at a news conference today.

Two models of smartphones are yet presented – HTC Tattoo and HTC Hero. The warranty service term for those phones makes 12 months. In the nearest future other models will be presented as well. The cost of HTC Tattoo makes 135 thousand AMD, and HTC Hero – 195 thousand AMD.

Ralph Yirikian stressed that HTC smartphones are not “linked” to “VivaCell-MTS” SIM cards.

HTC Company Regional Director in Russia and CIS countries Andrey Kormiltsev noted “I am sure of our company’s success in Armenia in many respects due to our partner, whose “VivaCell-MTS” brand is popular here”.

He stressed that HTC Company has a clear understanding of developments in the Armenian market, however it is yet premature to forecast sales indices. Concerning appearance of HTC smartphones at the stores of Orange Armenia operator, according to Andrey Kormiltsev, Orange is the global partner of HTC in the world.

“Recently we started episodic sales of our devices in Armenia, however now we announce strategic entry to the market together with “VivaCell-MTS” company”, Andrey Kormiltsev stated.
