Huawei and ZTE intend to launch activity in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsian, who is in China for a visit, held meetings with Executive Director of Huawei Corporation and President of ZTE Corporation.

Mediamax reports referring the press service of the President that Serzh Sargsian and Head of ZTE Corporation discussed the chances for cooperation. Positively assessing the interests of the Chinese company to launch activity in Armenia, the President noted that the Armenian side is ready to assist the Chinese companies and wants to participate in the production process.

Cooperation prospects were also discussed at the meeting with the Head of Huawei. The Chinese Corporation expressed interest to launch activity in Armenia and the corresponding memorandum was signed following the results of discussions.

Huawei is a dynamically developing company and at present it yields only to American Intel as to the number of copyright licenses, and to Swedish Ericsson as to volumes of product sales.
