Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange Company launched broadening of its network coverage in Armenia.
Mediamax was informed in the press service of the mobile connection operator that the ceremony of opening the first base station of Orange in Gegharkunik marz of Armenia took place today.
Thus, Orange launches large-scale construction works, as a result of which the coverage of 2G and 3G+ networks will be available for 93% of the Armenian population by August, 2010.
Works for 2010 also provide for setting up new basic stations on the territory of the current coverage, which will allow consolidating 2G and 3G+ networks in the capital and other large towns.
