“Synopsys Armenia” and SEUA announced enrolment of entrants for BA Course, functioning on the company’s basis

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Synopsys Armenia” and State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) announced new enrolment of entrants (2010-2011 academic year) for the BA Course (undergraduate studies) of the interdepartmental chair of “Microelectronic schemes and systems”, functioning on the basis of “Synopsys Armenia”.

Mediamax reports that, speaking for SEUA students in Yerevan today, General Director of “Synopsys Armenia” Rich Goldman stated that the program aims at producing highly qualified specialists in the sphere of designing superscale integration schemes and electronic automation.

Rich Goldman noted that cooperation between “Synopsys Armenia” and SEUA is the closest one among all joint programs the company realizes with over 1000 universities all over the world. “Graduates of the joint educational program of “Synopsys Armenia” and SEUA become specialists of international level”, Rich Goldman stated, noting that the educational program, elaborated in Armenia, has been adopted in particular by Russian, Chinese and West European higher educational institutions.

Head of “Microelectronic schemes and systems” Chair Vazgen Melikyan informed that SEUA computer engineering and information science students, who have completed the second year of study and whose average grade following the results of previous 4 semesters was not lower than 4 (given a five-grade scale), as well as the graduates of SEUA College, can participate in the educational program.

Education will take place by two specialties: “Microelectronic schemes and systems” and “Software tools for elaboration of integral schemes and systems”. Documents will be accepted and entrance tests will be held upon completion of summer examinations.
